Key Responsibilities
- SLP: Conduct assessments, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy.
- SLPA: Support SLPs with treatment plans, provide therapy under supervision, and document progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to implement communication strategies.
- Track student performance and adjust interventions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with state and district policies and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid CA license.
- SLPA: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field and CA SLPA certification (or eligibility).
- Familiarity with school-based therapy practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
