Job Details:
- On Site
- Part time or Full time
- Elementary - Middle school caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, and swallowing function.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and communication with stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Louisiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational setting.
- IEP experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with AAC devices preferred.
