ProCare Therapy has partnered with a school district near Oxnard, CA, to find a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist for the rest of the 2024-2025 school year. If you’re ready to make a difference in students' lives, this is the opportunity for you!
- Enhance Communication: Help students develop essential verbal and non-verbal communication skills for success in the classroom.
- Develop Cognitive Skills: Support memory, attention, and problem-solving to improve overall learning.
- Support Safe Swallowing: Assist students facing swallowing difficulties to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Provide Alternative Communication Tools: Empower non-verbal students with tools like communication boards and speech-generating devices.
- Improve Voice Quality: Help students achieve a healthy pitch, tone, and volume for clear communication.
- Foster Clear Expression: Enable effective communication through both verbal and written means.
- Diagnose & Treat Speech Disorders: Address articulation, fluency, and voice disorders to support students in reaching their full potential.
Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $55 - $65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Active California SLP license required. Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!
