We are excited to announce two opportunities for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in Bay City, TX. These positions focus on providing specialized support to young learners, helping them develop essential communication skills. Position Details:
Position 1: Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) to Kindergarten
Position 2: 1st Grade to 2nd Grade
- Start Date: August 5
- End Date: May 23
- Hours per Week: 40 hours preferred, but we are open to candidates who can commit to fewer hours.
- Caseload: Part-Time (25), Full-Time (50)
- Population and Ages: ECSE to 2nd grade, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
- Write detailed reports on assessment findings
- Present findings and recommendations in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' educational goals
Candidate Requirements:
- Open to Clinical Fellows: Yes
- Open to Assistants (SLPA): Yes, if unable to fill the position with a certified SLP
- Teletherapy or Hybrid Options: Hybrid available, but strong preference for in-person services
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Strong preference for in-person service delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
