Speech Language Pathologist Needed

Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a full-time position covering a maternity leave from September 9 through the end of the school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work with elementary students (TK-5th) in Special Day Classes (SDC) specifically designed for students with Autism with mild to moderate needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students in SDC classes.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in special education settings.
- Knowledge of and experience with autism spectrum disorders and related therapeutic interventions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
