Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity | One-Month Coverage
VocoVision is excited to announce a collaboration with a school district near Athens, AL, to find a remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, one-month position, with the potential for extension. You do not need to reside in Alabama; however, you must hold a valid license for both your home state and Alabama.
Position Overview:
- Duration: Full-time for one month (with a chance for extension)
- Pay Rate: $44-$47 per hour, paid weekly
- Service Type: Direct and indirect therapy services
- Student Caseload: 59 students in grades 4-8
- Employment Type: Independent contractor
- Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance needed upon acceptance
- Schedule: Detailed hours will be discussed in a Zoom interview
Key Duties:
- Provide therapy services focused on language and articulation skills.
- Create individualized intervention plans tailored to each student’s communication, language, and social needs in a virtual format.
- Collaborate online with teachers and other staff to ensure effective implementation of interventions.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of experience in an educational setting.
Necessary Certifications:
- Alabama Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Valid education or teaching certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Up-to-date state clearances (fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, background check, etc.)
