Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
Position: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time Independent Contractor
Student Caseload: 87 students (Grades 8-12)
Hourly Compensation: $47 - $52 (Based on virtual experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services for our partner district in Phenix City, AL. This remote position will involve managing a caseload of 87 students, including those with behavioral challenges, who receive support from paraeducators. You will be provided with technical and clinical assistance throughout the assignment to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and therapy for students in grades 8-12.
- Develop and manage individualized education plans (IEPs), tracking student progress.
- Collaborate with paraeducators and educational staff to ensure proper support for students.
- Provide both direct and indirect services, including consultation with teachers and families.
- Manage a caseload of 87 students, including those with behavioral challenges.
Qualifications:
- Must hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification.
- Required clearances for Alabama.
- Prior experience in a virtual SLP role is preferred.
- Ability to work with high school students and address a variety of needs, including behavioral concerns.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educational staff.
