Caseload/Details: We are seeking 5 dedicated SLPAs to join our team and support various campuses in the south and southeast regions of Houston. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on students' communication skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Number of Positions: 5
Work Type: Onsite only
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in the evaluation, treatment, and management of students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Implement treatment plans and activities as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license in the state of Texas.
- Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
