Speech Language Pathologist Needed in Burlington, North Carolina
Burlington, NC
We have partnered with a school district in Burlington, North Carolina to hire a licensed speech language pathologist for the remainder of the current school year. The position is full time and will pay up to $42/Hour
What you’ll do:
- Work onsite up to 35-40 hours per week.
- Work with a K-12 caseload, servicing multiple school sites.
- Conduct initial + re-evaluations and provide recommendations for students.
- Make recommendations for services + attend IEP meetings.
- Build rapport and trust with the child you work with.
- Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Support teachers and other relevant staff to help students achieve their goals.

Application requirements:
- Master's degree required.
- Active North Carolina SLP license required (CCC).
- Two references with one by a previous direct supervisor/manager.
- Background check, drug screen + fingerprinting.
- TB risk assessment within 90 days (only applicable in certain states).
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Experience working in schools.
- Spent time in special education settings.
- Any SpEd-specific training or certifications.
