Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Available
Location: Newport News, VA

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024-2025 school year in Newport News, VA. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of student age groups and caseloads, tailored to your preferences and expertise.
About the Role
- Caseload: Flexible, spanning early childhood through high school, based on your professional strengths and interests.
- Primary Duties:
- Perform evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
- Design and oversee Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Deliver therapy sessions that align with students’ specific goals.
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and school staff to support each student’s progress.
- Schedule: Full-time, beginning immediately through the academic year.
What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- A valid Virginia SLP license (or the ability to obtain one).
- Prior experience in schools or with children is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, managing IEPs, and delivering therapy.
