Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee staff and students, contributing to the development of in-service training programs to enhance professional knowledge.
- Provide speech therapy services as needed.
- Handle professional inquiries, referring complex issues to the appropriate staff or departments.
- Train students and families on essential aspects of care tailored to individual needs.
- Other duties may apply based on district or program requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Valid Illinois SLP licensure.
- Teaching Certification.
- Certification of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP).
- A Master’s degree in Speech and Communication.
- At least two years of school-based experience.
- Liability insurance required upon hire.
