Position Overview:
- Job Title: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Considered)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Location: Remote – Serving students in Texas
- School Year: 2024-2025
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and district needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to K-12 students across Texas.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver interactive therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support each student’s educational goals.
- Regularly evaluate and document progress, adjust plans as needed, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active Texas SLP license required. Certification through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is mandatory.
- Certification: Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders; virtual therapy experience is a plus.
- Technology: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a computer that meets teletherapy standards (Chromebooks/tablets are not permitted).
