We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position in Bloomfield, NJ.
Position Overview:
As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders, helping them reach their full potential. This role includes developing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with teachers and staff, and providing ongoing support to students with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in group or individual sessions.
- Track and document student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Offer resources and guidance for teachers and families on speech and language strategies.
- Stay current on best practices and participate in professional development as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP license in New Jersey.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
