Now Hiring: Speech Language Pathologist – Philadelphia, PA
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Philadelphia, PA area. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to helping students develop their communication and language skills.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state requirements to be considered for this role:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Possess an active Pennsylvania SLP license
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (preferred)
- Obtain a Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) School-Based SLP Certification
- Must have prior experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting
- Adhere to all state and district guidelines for school-based SLP positions
Applicants who do not meet the above qualifications will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
As a Speech Language Pathologist, your duties may include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Conducting student evaluations and progress assessments
- Providing therapy sessions in both individual and group settings
- Ensuring compliance with state and district policies for documentation and reporting
