Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CFY)
Location: Chicago, IL and Surrounding Areas
Soliant is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic School Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CFY) for the 23/24 school year. This position is based near Chicago, Illinois, and encompasses surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Assist in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services to individuals with communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress towards goals
- Maintain accurate and organized records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide valuable insights on speech and language needs
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (or expected graduation within the current academic year)
- Completion of clinical fellowship (CFY) or eligibility for CFY
- Valid Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience in a school setting or relevant practicum experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
