Job Description:
Soliant is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CFY) in a school-based setting in Ashburn, VA. This position is perfect for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience while making a meaningful impact in the lives of students with speech and language disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations of students’ speech and language skills under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings, promoting effective communication skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Virginia state SLP license or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Fellow.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is not required but preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
