Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) to join our team in Goleta, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a school-based setting while working under the supervision of an experienced SLP. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the chance to develop your skills in assessment, therapy, and collaboration while supporting students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments with supervision.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for students with communication disorders, under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students with speech and language needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in setting appropriate goals for students.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to support student success in the classroom.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required records.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to provide the best services to students.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligible for or hold a valid California license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Clinical Fellowship (CF) requirements met or in progress.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their communication development.
