Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) to join our team in Chesterfield, South Carolina. This is a full-time, school-based position ideal for a recent graduate or someone completing their clinical fellowship. You will receive guidance and mentorship while working alongside experienced professionals to develop your skills and provide speech and language therapy services to students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders, under the guidance of a licensed SLP.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervisors.
- Develop and implement therapy strategies to address speech, language, and communication goals for students.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings to provide input on student progress and goals.
- Maintain accurate therapy records, including progress notes and other required documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure the successful implementation of therapy goals.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Receive consistent feedback and supervision to ensure professional growth during your clinical fellowship year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligibility for South Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Clinical Fellowship year (CF) required.
- ASHA certification preferred (or in process).
- Previous experience or internships in school-based settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and contributing to their academic and social success.
