Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP CF) to join our team in Cowiche, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a new graduate to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school-based setting while working under the guidance of an experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet the needs of students.
- Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings, as required by the supervising SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support students’ communication goals in both academic and social settings.
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of goals and objectives for students.
- Provide support and guidance to students in developing their speech, language, and communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student therapy services and progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or completion of required clinical hours.
- Washington state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, students, and families.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to therapy with a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is a plus, but not required.
