Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to join our team in Newcastle, WA area. This full-time position will involve working with a diverse group of elementary-aged students, providing individualized and group therapy sessions to address various speech and language disorders. The role includes developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), collaborating with teachers and parents, and monitoring student progress throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students’ speech and language needs.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Eligible for Clinical Fellowship, with the ability to obtain state licensure in Washington
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
