Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals.
- Provide therapy services to address articulation, phonology, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with experienced SLPs, teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor students' progress, maintain detailed documentation, and contribute to intervention plan adjustments.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Completion or nearing completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Eligibility for Ohio state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth and learning.
