Position Summary:
VocoVision is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual therapy services to K-12 students across Michigan. This independent contractor position offers the flexibility to work from home while making a meaningful difference in students' lives. By leveraging VocoVision’s advanced teletherapy platform, you can support students in communities across Michigan, from urban areas to rural districts.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs, adhering to Michigan education standards.
- Create and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and requirements.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive teletherapy sessions using VocoVision’s tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student growth and development.
- Keep accurate records of therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- Participate in remote IEP meetings and provide expert insights tailored to Michigan’s guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Current Michigan SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Prior experience in school-based settings or familiarity with Michigan’s education system (preferred).
- Sound technical proficiency and comfort with online platforms.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
