Speech Language Pathologist - California School District (Remote)
Overview:
VocoVision is partnering with a school district in California to fill a Speech-Language Pathologist position for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely using VocoVision's HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform, providing therapy, assessment, and support to students.
Platform and Tools:
- HIPAA/FERPA compliant platform – VocoVision
- Zoom interface
- Scheduling and Continuing Education Tools
- Assessment and Therapy tools (games, interactive assignments, digitized assessment tools)
- No storage of student data on VocoVision's platform
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
- Active licensure in California
- Ability to lead IEPs and conduct evaluations, with virtual support
- Strong tech skills and interpersonal communication abilities
Job Details:
- Duration: 24/25 school year
- Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Student Levels: K-12
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy for receptive, expressive, and articulation skills
- Collaborate remotely with team members and parents
- Utilize district email and IEP systems
- Conduct multi-factored evaluations and provide virtual support for IEPs
- Deliver remote speech and language services
- Assist in curriculum development and policy creation
- Implement services individually or in small groups for school and community settings
- Plan and execute tailored educational programs
- Create inclusive learning environments and communicate with stakeholders about goals and progress
- Attend parent conferences as needed and use best practices suitable for diverse student populations
- Maintain professional conduct and adherence to policies
