ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-25 school year in Bellevue, NE. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping students succeed and will provide high-quality speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and progress made.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current State SLP licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their full potential.
