Speech Language Pathologist Assistants - Needed in Norfolk County, Massachusetts
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Norfolk County, MA. This position offers both full-time and part-time options, providing flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students' communication skills. The SLPA will work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide high-quality speech and language support to students in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech and language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Work with students individually or in small groups to implement treatment plans.
- Support teachers and school staff in integrating communication strategies into the classroom.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and therapists to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- Current or eligible Massachusetts SLPA license.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping students improve their speech and language abilities.
