Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Aberdeen, WA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other educational professionals to support students with communication disorders.
- Implement individualized therapy plans designed by speech-language pathologists to address students' speech and language goals.
- Conduct therapy sessions with students both individually and in small groups, under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
- Assist in conducting screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring of students' speech and language skills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
- Knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting the well-being of students.
