Job Description
Soliant is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a dynamic school team in South Lebanon, OR. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with communication challenges, helping them thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities
- Deliver speech and language interventions under the direction of an SLP.
- Assist with the implementation of IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals.
- Monitor and document student progress, preparing reports as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure consistent student development.
- Provide therapy in individual or group settings.
- Participate in meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences or related field.
- Current Oregon SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
