Role Overview:
As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering essential speech and language services to students. Your role will involve assisting in therapy sessions and helping to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Services: Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Therapy Implementation: Provide direct support to students during therapy sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist with reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SLPs, teachers, and other staff to address student needs.
- Communication: Engage with families to discuss student progress and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current Washington State registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
