Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) | School Based

Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school-based team in Chesterfield, SC for the Spring Semester of 2025. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students in need of speech and language support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with educators and other staff to support students' academic and social development.
- Follow guidelines for therapy plans and progress tracking, as set by the supervising SLP.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA certification.
- Experience working in a school-based setting (preferred, but not required).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for helping students succeed in an educational setting.
Contract Details:
- Full-time position for the Spring Semester of 2025.
- Hourly contract position through Soliant Education.
