Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) eager to contribute to a supportive educational community? We’re looking for a committed professional to join our team in Redwood, OR, where you’ll provide essential speech and language services to elementary students from early education through 5th grade.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Redwood, OR
Details:
- Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday
- Setting: Onsite, working directly with students in a collaborative school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessments: Assist in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Therapy Plans: Support the development and implementation of personalized therapy plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to enhance student progress.
- Progress Monitoring: Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Therapy Sessions: Provide one-on-one or small group therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid OR license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
- Bilingual: Must be bilingual.
- Experience: Experience with or a willingness to work with elementary-aged students.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a proven aptitude for a school-based setting.
- Commitment: Passionate about improving students' communication skills.
