Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity – Thornton, CO
Onsite | Up to 30 Hours/Week | PreK Caseload
About the Position:
ProCare Therapy, in partnership with Blazerworks Education, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for an onsite school-based position in Thornton, CO. This role supports a remote SLP with a combined caseload of 64 students in a PreK setting. Position Details:
- Employment Type: Part-time (up to 30 hours per week)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: May 29, 2025
- Caseload:
- PreK students
- Supporting a remote SLP with a shared caseload of 64 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services under SLP supervision
- Assist with IEP goal implementation, data tracking, and progress reporting
- Support PreK students in building foundational communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Maintain accurate therapy records and compliance documentation
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification in Colorado
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
