Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time
Location: Silverdale, WA
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
ProCare Therapy is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Silverdale, WA. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of students while working closely with a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising SLP.
- Record and document student progress, including preparing charts, graphs, and performance records.
- Support the SLP during assessments by preparing materials and assisting in evaluations.
- Complete clerical tasks such as scheduling and organizing activities.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance of therapy equipment.
- Collect and report data to support quality improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Active Washington SLPA license or certification
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a team
