ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position in Park Ridge, IL, available ASAP through the end of the 2024-2025 school year. This role provides a unique opportunity to support staff district-wide while working with students to help them achieve their speech and language goals.
Position: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Park Ridge, IL
Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duration: ASAP Start – End of School Year (2024-2025)
Caseload: Support district-wide; primarily focused on assisting staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the supervising SLP to provide speech and language interventions
- Help develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
- Support staff and assist in providing therapy services where needed
Requirements:
- MUST HAVE an active Illinois SLPA license
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
