Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: De Leon, TX
Details:
- Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday
- Setting: Onsite, working with elementary students (EE-5th grade) in a dynamic and supportive school environment
- Caseload: Approximately 65 students
General Duties:
- Assessments: Assist in conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Therapy Plans: Support the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans.
- Collaboration: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster student growth and development.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
- Therapy Sessions: Deliver one-on-one or small group therapy sessions under the guidance of an SLP.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Texas.
- Bilingual: Must be bilingual.
- Experience: Experience with or willingness to work with elementary students.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to excel in a school setting.
- Commitment: Dedicated to improving students' communication skills.
