Are you a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) seeking a rewarding opportunity? We invite you to join us in Carbon, TX, where you’ll provide exceptional speech and language services to elementary students from early education through 5th grade.
Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Carbon, TX
Details:
- Full-Time Hours: Monday to Friday
- Setting: Onsite, working with elementary students (EE-5th grade) in a collaborative and engaging school environment
- Caseload: Approximately 65 students
General Duties:
- Assessments: Assist in conducting thorough speech and language assessments.
- Therapy Plans: Help create and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
- Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Therapy Sessions: Conduct one-on-one or small group therapy sessions under the supervision of an SLP.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Valid licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Texas.
- Bilingual: Must be bilingual.
- Experience: Experience with or willingness to work with elementary students.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to thrive in a school-based setting.
- Commitment: Dedicated to enhancing students' communication abilities.
