We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a full-time position near Lexington Park, Maryland. The SLP will be covering a middle and high school. This position is needed immediately and will run through the end of the school year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in implementing therapy services for students with speech and language delays.
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of an SLP, primarily in self-contained classrooms.
Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license.
- Experience working in a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Passion for supporting students with functional skills and developmental needs.
