Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) Opportunity – Full-Time in Methuen, MA
ProCare Therapy is currently hiring a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join a supportive school district in Methuen, MA. This is a full-time role offering the chance to work closely with K-2 students, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those utilizing AAC devices.
Position Details:
- Location: Methuen, MA
- Schedule: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
- Start/End Date: ASAP – End of School Year (EOSY)
- Caseload:
- Age group: Kindergarten through 2nd grade
- Size: Approximately 30 students
- Needs: ASD and AAC device users
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans to support student communication needs
- Document progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to promote student success
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA certification in Massachusetts
- Experience with K-2 students, ASD, and AAC devices preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to helping students reach their full potential
