Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - New Grads Welcomed

Position Overview:
Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Modesto, CA for the remainder of the school year. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for either full-time or part-time hours in a school environment. As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting students' communication development and working alongside Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to implement therapy plans and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists with therapy services for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, ensuring proper data collection.
- Support classroom teachers and other staff to implement communication strategies across settings.
- Maintain appropriate records and follow confidentiality guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or related field.
- CA state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
