Job Description:
Soliant is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based position in St. Clair, MO. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students with speech and communication disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the educational growth and development of students in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the SLP.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students.
- Document therapy sessions and progress notes.
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and other staff regarding student progress.
- Maintain compliance with district and state policies.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active Missouri SLPA license or eligibility.
- Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
