Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) near Pacifica
Position Overview:
Soliant Health is currently looking for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Pacifica, CA for the remainder of the school year. We are offering both full-time and part-time hours, depending on your availability. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain experience in the school setting while making a positive impact on students’ communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services to students.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions as directed by the supervising SLP.
- Monitor and document student progress, tracking therapy outcomes and goals.
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to implement strategies for improving communication skills across settings.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, student progress, and relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech-Language Pathology, or a related field.
- California state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Experience in a school or clinical setting is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Position Details:
- Full-Time or Part-Time Hours – Flexible schedule for the remainder of the school year.
