Job Description:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Fitchburg, MA for the 2025 school year. In this role, you will support speech therapy services, help students meet their speech goals, and assist in their language development under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering speech therapy and implementing IEPs for students with language needs.
- Foster an inclusive, engaging environment to encourage communication skills.
- Work with teachers, parents, and SLPs to track progress and adjust methods.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and assistive technologies for student support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current SLPA certification.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience working with students with speech and language disorders is preferred.
