Position Details:
- Location: Kansas City, MO
- Role: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Support the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid State of Missouri SLPA License or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience in a school or clinical setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to working with students.
