Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all local and state regulatory requirements for SLPA licensure. Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
Typical Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist in providing therapy services to students.
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the SLP.
- Work with students in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student development.
- Prepare and adapt materials for therapy sessions.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions.
