Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SLPA to join our team in Newton, MA. This school-based role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on students' speech and communication development. As an SLPA, you will assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans and providing essential support to students with communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Assist with screening and assessments.
- Document student progress and maintain therapy records.
- Support IEP goals by providing direct speech therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to support student success.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences or related field.
- Valid SLPA license/certification in Massachusetts.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
