Join a growing school team in Norristown, PA as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). This is a full-time role, but part-time candidates will be considered as well. You’ll work closely with K-12 students, providing essential support in communication therapy. Read more below:
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLPA License
- Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
- ASHA certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team
- Must be able to travel to different school locations if necessary
- Onsite position (virtual services not available)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the SLP in delivering therapy and instructional services
- Aid in screenings and identifying speech/language disorders
- Implement individualized plans for students with communication difficulties
- Collect data on student progress and help measure therapy effectiveness
