Speech Language Pathologist Assistant – Monroe, NC
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Monroe, NC area. We are seeking passionate professionals dedicated to supporting students' communication development.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active North Carolina SLPA license
- Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant preferred
- Strong understanding of speech and language intervention techniques
- Must meet all local and state education and certification requirements

Responsibilities
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing therapy services to students
- Implement treatment plans and activities under SLP supervision
- Support students in both individual and group settings to improve speech and language skills
- Document progress and report findings to the SLP and educational team
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Ensure compliance with state, district, and federal special education guidelines
