Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Full Time in Santa Clara, CA

A fantastic school district located in Santa Clara, CA is actively seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join the team. The successful candidate will assist the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in providing speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in conducting assessments and evaluations of students with communication disorders
- Implement therapy programs as designed by the SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to provide coordinated services to students with communication disorders
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy programs as needed
- Document student progress and communicate with parents/guardians as needed
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
- Valid State Speech Language Pathology Assistant certification
- Experience working with students with communication disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and support staff
