Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in Memphis, TN. This opportunity offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time schedules, and a full school year contract. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed to meet the individual needs of students
- Provide direct therapy services in one-on-one or group settings to support students’ communication goals
- Assist with student assessments and track progress over time
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address student needs
- Organize therapy materials and maintain accurate documentation of therapy services
- Support the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with the supervising SLP
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Active certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Tennessee
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed SLP
