Job Description:
Soliant Health is seeking a qualified and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Columbus, GA. In this school-based position, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders. You will play a key role in supporting students' communication development and helping them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the SLP in delivering speech and language therapy services to students.
- Follow therapy plans developed by the SLP to address students' individual needs.
- Support students in developing communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to ensure student success.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Current SLPA license in Georgia.
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
