Role Overview:
As an SLPA, you will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing essential speech and language services to students. Your role will include assisting in therapy sessions and contributing to a positive and effective learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Services: Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Therapy Assistance: Provide direct support to students during therapy sessions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of student progress and help with reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SLPs, teachers, and staff to meet the needs of students.
- Communication: Engage with families to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field.
- Current Massachusetts registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
